Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by classical music, boleros and the traditional romantic, ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. Ana began learning and singing songs with her mother she began her more intensive vocal training when she was 16 with renowned Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous chamber and opera choirs. After moving from Mexico to the United States at the age of 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. The love she has for the performing arts, music, and the arts keep her engaged in local projects in both her capacity as an artist and educator. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for their permission to play traditional Latin American song.
